Scoring goals for financial literacy
The World Cup kicks off later this week and the folks at the Rhode Island Jump$tart Coalition have found a way to combine soccer and financial literacy. In addition to an event next Saturday at the Wide World of Indoor Sports, they are encouraging people to play Visa’s Financial Soccer Game online.
Football game teaches students money management
A computer game designed to help educate high school students about personal finance was introduced in South Carolina on Friday. State Treasurer Converse Chellis and Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams unveiled the Financial Football game at a Columbia area high school.
