    Minnesota Vikings Ponder, State Treasurer Shoffner Join Visa Inc. in Arkansas Financial Football Rollout
    In Little Rock, Arkansas State Treasurer Martha Shoffner kicked off a financial literacy initiative for students featuring Visa's Financial Football with help from the Vikings' QB Christian Ponder. As part of the statewide rollout, they joined students from four area high schools playing Financial Football, the free educational personal finance video game. Read more

    Recent Visa Inc. Survey Shows Americans Hosting Super Bowl Parties Plan to Spend $118
    As the Super Bowl approaches, a Visa Inc. survey finds that the average American hosting a Super Bowl party plans to spend $118.80 on food, beverages and more-almost identical to last year. In 2010, the average fan spent $144. There are regional differences as well, with fans in the South planning to spend the most at $128, and fans in the West planning to spend the least at $110.     Richard Cordray, long-time financial literacy advocate and the new Director of the Consumer Protection Bureau, has an extensive history of working with Visa to improve financial education. He demonstrated his quest to improve global financial literacy by partnering with Visa as a speaker at the 2007 Financial Literacy and Education Summit and on the Ohio rollout of the educational game, Financial Football.
